Original papers from universities, the industry, private institutions, and other organisations report about new investigations carried out in the following areas of drug research and development: chemistry, synthesis, analytics, biochemistry, experimental pharmacology, toxicology, teratology, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, clinical pharmacology, efficacy testing, drug interactions, bioavailability, bioequivalence and questions relating to drug formulation, mathematical and statistical methods for the evaluation of results from industrial investigations as well as clinical trials.
In the journal's special section "Biotechnology in Drug Research" investigators present their studies, results, and experience with therapeutics of biotechnological origin. Like with classical drugs, themes cover all the steps from discovery and development up to clinical research. |
