    Abstract

The siliconization process is state of the art in the production of ready-to-use syringes in order to reduce the gliding forces of the piston. The bake-on process was developed to optimize the siliconization and to minimize the load of the drug solution with micro droplets of silicone oil. In this process the silicon oil is thermally bonded to the glass surface. During in-depth investigations in a research project two alternative solutions (...)
