The following article will describe how hameln pharma, contract manufacturer of parenteral solutions and suspensions, has structured the complete water production and distribution in its new sterile facility.
The supply in the new building with Water for injections (WfI) and Highly purified water (HPW) was one of the most crucial questions when building the new sterile facility as ultrapure water is the most important raw material in a company specialised in the production of parenterals.
Besides the questions of production and distribution, a perspective concerning the qualification of the systems is given.
