Steigerung der Effizienz beim Filmcoating

The Bohle Film Coater (BFC) provides an alternative solution to conventional pan coaters. Innovative concepts for the process as well as for cleaning procedures, make this coater perform excellent in function with outstanding results.
Great advantages for the process can be seen by the unique air handling system with its special directional air flow. The coating solution is not endangered to become subject of spray drying anymore, thus the loss of coating solution is decreased and the structure of the applied coating film is being improved. The pan geometry with its mixing- and transporting blades inside, provides a gentle treatment of all tablets. Furthermore a new spray nozzle system eleminates the usual manual check and cleaning of nozzles throughout a longer period of processing. To finally empty the coating pan, all tablets can be discharged completely into ordinary tablet containers or drums.
The construction of the coater was designed especially for Cleaning In Place (CIP) requirements. A combination of low- and high pressure cleaning provides best cleaning results in a very short amount of time.
Even though many improvements have been made the unit is still a perforated drum coater, which clearly means, that the coating process is well known at all relevant authorities. Therefore a registration is not necessary when changing to the BFC.
