The pharmaceutical facility in Eberbach, Germany, is a large softgel development and manufacturing facility with a capacity of 12.8 billion capsules per year. The system handles highly potent hormonal and cytotoxic compounds from multiple formulations from 9 different production lines, comprising up to 177 different APIs, as well as their in-house Research and Development department [ 1 ].
