NOXXON Enrolls First Patient in the Phase 1/2 Clinical Trial Combining NOX-A12 With Radiotherapy in Newly Diagnosed Brain Cancer
17.10.2019NOXXON Pharma N.V. (Euronext Growth Paris: ALNOX), a biotechnology company focused on improving cancer treatments by targeting the tumor microenvironment (TME), announced today the enrollment and first treatment of a patient with newly diagnosed brain cancer in a phase 1/2 clinical trial. The study investigates a combined therapy of increasing doses of the CXCL12 inhibitor, NOX-A12, and external-beam radiotherapy. Within this study, NOX-A12 administration in planned for up to six months. The anticipated mode of action of NOX-A12 is the inhibition of the unwanted influx of bone marrow-derived “repair cells” to the tumor following radiotherapy-induced breakdown of the vasculature in the tumor. These “repair cells” act by replacing the tumor’s blood vessels that were destroyed by the irradiation, which ultimately results in disease recurrence. (...)

Forscher des Medical College of Georgia http://augusta.edu/mcg haben jetzt erstmals die Zahl der Syphilis-Erkrankungen bei Patienten mit Nierenversagen untersucht. Laut den im "Clinical Kidney Journal" veröffentlichten Ergebnissen tritt diese Erkrankung bei dieser Personengruppe drei Mal so häufig auf wie in der Allgmeinbevölkerung. / Syphilis-Test empfohlen / Bei einer Erkrankung mit Neurosyphilis können das Gehirn und das gesamte Zentralnervensystem vom Bakterium in Mitleidenschaft gezogen werden. Das Unternehmen mit Sitz in Weinheim (Deutschland) steuert ein internationales Transportnetz für Pakete und Paletten in 36 europäischen Ländern. The OPEN-SCS working group is partnered with the OPC Foundation to develop an open source standard covering the complete business transaction for the data exchange in pharma packaging serialization. 23.10.2019Am CSL-Standort in Marburg ging Mitte 2018 eine neue, moderne und hoch automatisierte Bulk-Produktionsanlage in Betrieb, die eine manuell betriebene Bulk-Produktionsanlage ersetzen wird. Das Projekt wurde innerhalb von 3,5 Jahren (von der Genehmigung bis zur produktiven Nutzung) realisiert. In diesem Beitrag wird gezeigt, wie in der Planungsphase beim Prozesstransfer von einem manuellen zu einem hoch automatisierten Prozess vorgegangen wurde, und wie es gelungen ist, die Reinraumgröße so klein wie möglich zu gestalten, um die vorhandenen Platzverhältnisse optimal auszunutzen und die Betriebskosten zu senken. BVA und BaFin erkennen Solidargemeinschaften nicht an
