18.10.2019Hochleistungskunststoffe wie die verschiedenen Polysulfone oder auch das Polyvinylbenzol zeichnen sich vor allem durch Eigenschaften wie thermoplastische Stabilität, Resistenz gegen extreme pH-Werte oder ausgezeichnete optische Eigenschaften aus und finden breite Verwendung in der Medizin, aber auch der Industrie. Ein wesentliches Manko dieser Materialien: Für ihre Herstellung müssen oft toxische und umweltbelastende Reagenzien eingesetzt werden oder diese fallen als Abfallstoffe an. Zertifikatsmodule der Pflege und Logopädie enden erfolgreich
18.10.2019Insgesamt 44 Teilnehmer*innen haben im Oktober 2019 zwei berufsbegleitende Zertifikatsmodule an der Hochschule für Gesundheit (hsg Bochum) abgeschlossen. Die beiden Module wurden im Rahmen des vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung geförderten Projekts ‚Aufbau berufsbegleitender Studienangebote in den Pflege- und Gesundheitswissenschaften‘ angeboten. Sie sind Teil der weiterbildenden Master-Studiengänge ‚Evidenzbasierte Logopädie‘ und ‚Advanced Nursing Practice (ANP)‘, die im Wintersemester 2020/2021 an der hsg Bochum starten. New subcutaneous formulation of Celltrion Healthcare’s CT-P13 (biosimilar infliximab) shows positive Phase 1 results for the treatment of IBD in data presented at UEG Week Barcelona 2019
21.10.2019Celltrion Healthcare today announced new data from a Phase 1 pivotal study to evaluate the pharmacokinetics (PK), efficacy and safety of CT-P13 SC compared to the CT-P13 IV formulation in people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Results presented at UEG Week 2019 in Barcelona, Spain demonstrated non-inferiority of CT-P13 SC compared to CT-P13 IV in the PK primary endpoint at pre-dose level (Ctrough) at week 22, and in the secondary endpoints efficacy and safety up to week 30. / In the study, 136 patients were enrolled and 131 were randomised (66 to CT-P13 SC and 65 to CT-P13 IV). After loading doses of IV 5mg/kg at weeks 0 and 2, patients were randomised at week 6 to receive either CT-P13 SC 120mg (<80kg) or 240mg (≥80kg) every 2 weeks in the CT-P13 SC arm, or CT-P13 IV 5mg/kg every 8 weeks in the CT-P13 IV arm.
